We rely on parent volunteers for a successful Scouts BSA program
• Parents turn over every 4-5 years. We must always be recruiting.
• Volunteering allows you to experience Scouting in a new way.
• Our philosophy is many hands make light work!
Scoutmasters

Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters are the most consequential volunteer roles in Scouts BSA. We cannot run the Scout program without them. Scoutmasters are typically guides, this is a boy-run Troop. Troop 4480 has resources and guidance to support our Scoutmasters, all you need is a willing attitude!
Troop Committee

The administrative duties of the Troop are spread across the members of the Troop Committee. Keeping these key position filled is vital to the success of Troop 4480. Check out the Volunteer Guide for descriptions of the following positions. Take the position specific training at my.scouting.org. Typical time commitments are 1-2 hours per month.

PST consists of several short trainings geared towards your position in the Troop. Trainings are available for Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, and Committee Members.
